Orfee Schuijt

In Who´s afraid of red yellow and blue?, I perform an editing practice on an erotic text as I play simple games of movement repetition and transformation. Actions are repeated over longer duration until strange new relationships manifest themselves as ‘normal’. In this piece, I wanted to pursue an abstraction of libido to re-occupy a sensuous and erotic field. Limbs and words, freed from their functional connection to a "body" as a whole, oscillate between abstraction and representation.
